Learning
at PIMAR
- Is always special and an
experience in its own way.
- Student is given an area
of research as appropriate to his background
after discussing with the student on a one-on-one
basis. This is provided in the 1st semester itself.
- Student maps the classroom
learning on to the study of research
- Student is encouraged to
apply the concepts in the context of the area
of research and perceive the concept in the generic
sense, thus enabling him to adapt himself for
any future situation.
- This area of research will
culminate into a well defined project by the
time the student completes the programme.
- Each semester the student
is provided with industrial exposure and he will
graduate in the process of industrial exposure
from small / medial scale to large scale industries
by the time he completes the course.
- Student is encouraged more
to perceive the concept and construct his own
image of the concept than to remember it.
- Continuous evaluation of
learning while providing the student with a feedback
on his strengths and developmental areas.
- Continuous students feedback
to the system about his comfort level in the
learning environment at the institute.
- Classroom teaching is technology
supported and interactive while using case studies
as the instruments.
- Learning resources are completely
technology driven.
- Providing support on Language
and soft skills to enhance transactional abilities.
- In the language classes
students discuss the literature on the contemporary
themes in the business world.
- And thus the student
is enabled to face tomorrow while using the
resources of today. At the end of the course
student will graduate more values and skills
in terms of managing than the knowledge of
Management science.
